Giveaway: Pearls of wisdom, and chocolate pearls, too.
Posted by Donna Freedman on May 14, 2010 | 44 commentsI’d planned to give away just one item this week, a copy of “The Coupon Mom’s Guide To Cutting Your Grocery Bills in Half” (Penguin, $15).
But that was before I read the comments on last week’s giveaway. Apparently, all giveaways should be made of chocolate.
That’s why this week’s prize package will be the book plus three cute li’l tins of Godiva Chocolate Pearls – milk chocolate, dark chocolate and dark chocolate mint.
Fans of Stephanie Nelson’s Coupon Mom blog will love the book. People who don’t know about her “strategic shopping” techniques will love it as soon as they’ve read it. Her style is friendly and engaging. and her advice is not only practical but possible.
The best of Coupon Mom – and portable!
Nelson knows that frugality means different things to different people. Her book has something for newbies, the time-crunched and the smartest of shoppers. She’s not lecturing – she’s sharing some irresistible deals.
If you want to slash your food bills, save big on diapers or dog food, get free toiletries or even go organic, this is the book for you. True frugalists would borrow it from the library, but I suggest you spring for your own copy. This is one you’ll want to keep.
And the chocolate? It’s Godiva. What else do you need to know?
