Giveaway: Send your supervisor soaring.

Last week was National Boss Day, but I’m just now getting around to commemorating it. This week’s giveaway is for anyone whose supervisor makes him a little tense.

Call it “revenge of the cubicle dweller.”

The “Boss Toss” is another catapult toy, similar to the Chicken Chucker, Love Gun and Pirate Attack! items I’ve previously given away. Maybe you’re one of those lucky people with a good boss. If not? Indulge in a little fantasy mayhem, i.e., send your supervisor soaring across the room.

In addition, you’ll get a $10 Starbucks e-card. A little tea or coffee will get you through a few midafternoon slumps. However, the caffeine might throw off your aim a bit.

To enter:

If you do any (or all!) of these things, please leave separate, additional comments to get credit for each entry.

The deadline to enter is 9 p.m. Alaska Daylight Time on Tuesday, Oct. 23. If I don’t hear back from the winner by 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, I’ll pull another name.

  1. I would love to win this item! My current boss is great but my last boss was a doozy. Even though I have mostly forgiven his bad behavior, I would have fun imagining myself tossing him.

  2. My supervisor is “retiring” so much fuss is being made. However, I put retiring in quotation marks, because my supervisor is choosing to remain on the union roster so that they still have the option of taking work away from those struggling at the bottom when they feel like it.

  3. Well. Wouldn’t this be perfect. I always get my supervisor a card and small gift. I asked her if she was going to be in for Boss’ Day (She’s not like the rest of us – she doesn’t have to work) and her response was “Why? So you can bake me a cake and put ground glass in it?”

The card went in the recycling bin and I never bought the gift.

But oh, what I could do with this thing when I win it.

    Please, Donna!!!!

  4. I work for a worker rights organization. We assist people with some awful bosses. Would love to have this as a doorprize at one of our meetings!

  5. How fun! Donna, you have the best giveaways. (And, boy, could I use a coffee right now. Or maybe not. Last night my son gave me some kind of cold bottled Starbucks drink, and I could. not. get. tired. I think I finally slunk to bed around 4:30 am…) But I’d definitely see that that card got used!

Hm… wonder if the cats would chase the bosses as I tossed them…

  6. Oh, the guys in my office are forever catapulting things across the room via self-made rubberband things. (Engineers!) And although we love our boss, this would be hilarious.
