Giveaway: $10 in Starbucks scrip.

th-1As someone who doesn’t drink coffee, I’m always bemused by the reaction when I offer Starbucks gift cards as a giveaway. The last time I did this I got 226 entries. For a $10 card!

Then again, it’s summer and even though I don’t care for the bean I do have to admit that the cold drinks at Starbucks are pretty refreshing and tasty.

That is, unless they trash them up with coffee.

Win this week’s $10 giveaway, though, and you can order whatever you like.

To enter:

If you do any (or all!) of these things, please leave separate, additional comments to get credit for each entry.

The deadline is 7 p.m. PDT Tuesday, July 1. If I donโ€™t hear back from the winners by 7 p.m. PDT Wednesday, July 2, Iโ€™ll pull a new winner.

  3. I do drink coffee, but (believe it or not) I have never been to Starbucks! We frugalists make our own coffee at home–and usually with free coffee from the Heyitsfree website! But, hey, I would love to try Starbucks for free, to see if it is any better than what I make at home, in my old fashion right on the stove coffee pot. I follow your blog as well as follow you on Facebook. AND, as you know I have had amazing luck in your giveaways in 2014—which makes me game to try again!

  4. Great gift for my girls; one a high school teacher and the other a research lab associate doing research on MS and Parkinson’s . They both live in Ohio and I in Michigan. I love sending them little surprises and Starbucks is their favorite

  5. Hi, I would give this to my daughter who has been working long days for the last 3 months as a carpenter for the Smithsonian Folklife Festival. In the days leading up to the festival she and her crew have been working 12+ hour days to get it all ready and ADA compliant. If you’re in the DC area, it’s a free 2 week festival on the Mall.

  6. Count me in…Should I win, will be passing it on to DD2 who loves Starbucks and would enjoy a Starbucks on her way to her “paid” internship that she has this Summer. Paid internship’s in this neck of the woods are as rare as “do-do birds”….

  7. Would love to win the gift card. I buy Starbucks ground coffee in the shop and brew it at home. At least I’m being (somewhat) frugal that way.

  8. I won this last summer about this time. It was great because I had a road trip coming up and the caffeine helped keep me awake on the drive. Same thing this year!

  9. I receive your emails.

I will add I prefer locally owned coffee shops and fair trade over Starbucks, but free is free!

  10. I subscribe via email and you are on my blog roll, too. There is a new Starbucks in this town, our first Starbucks. I don’t drink coffee, but might get something else in there or add it to a gift for Christmas. I have never been to Starbucks.

  11. I don’t drink coffee anymore, but I love a Starbucks Mocha. It’s not the beans that are my addiction, it’s the mocha powder!

  12. Well, I saw Starbucks and wasn’t going to enter (I’m not a coffee fan either) but you suckered me in with the cold drinks. I hope you’re happy! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Keep up the good work! Have SUCH a good time at your conference!

  13. As a non coffee drinker, I tend to appreciate Starbucks for the occasional fruity tea thing and clean bathrooms but it’s a positive addiction for others in the family who shall remain unnamed ๐Ÿ™‚

  14. I’d like to win this to give to someone, or to try non-coffee (hopefully sinful) concoctions. Or decoctions.

    Thanks!

  15. Starbucks coffee is nasty, bitter, oily, foul coffee. But their sweet goodies are yummy, and our small town finally got a store!
