Nor is her pantry full of prefab potatoes, salty snacks and garishly colored cereals; in fact, her family eats gluten-free and organic.

That’s why she wrote an e-book called “How to Coupon Effectively: Learn How to Save Thousands Per Year Spending Only 2 Hours Per Week.” She’s offered to donate a copy to give away this week, to help some lucky reader save money without getting calluses from clipping those Qs.

Lauren has taught coupon classes that help people cut their grocery budgets in half. Her book focuses on topics like organization, where to find coupons for free, budgeting, avoiding the usual coupon mistakes, the best money-saving apps, meal planning and shopping tips.

If you want to buy the book, you can get a 25% discount by clicking on the link above and using the code mealplanning at checkout.

First, though, you should try to win a copy by:

If you do any (or all!) of these things, please leave separate, additional comments to get credit for each entry.

The deadline is 7 p.m. PDT Tuesday, May 27. If I don’t hear back from the winner by 7 p.m. PDT Wednesday, May 28, I’ll pull another name.

  1. I’d love to get a copy of this book, Donna. I’m a “coupon contrarian,” and I just will not clip coupons for junk food. So Lauren’s tips would be perfect for me!

  9. Hi Donna,
I’ve been reading your posts for quite a while and use a lot of your suggestions. (I started when you were still living in Seattle.) I just had unexpected surgery, medical bills are rolling in and now I’m having to revamp my budget. I don’t have much time for couponing or watching sales rotations. Lauren’s book would teach me some new tricks and is something I would be thrilled to receive. Thanks Donna!
