Voting ends Sunday night. Can you help?

Thanks to a lot of support, I am currently poised to make the finals of the PF Olympics, a writing contest that’s part of the Financial Blogger Conference. But I admit it: I’m worried that some other contestants will produce a surge of late votes that knock me out of the running.

That’s where you come in — I hope.

I know that some of you have already voted for my two entries, and I appreciate the support. If you haven’t had the time to do so, I hope you’ll give at least one of them a read:

Here are the links:

If you don’t have time to read/vote twice, may I request that you check out the Get Rich Slowly piece, “Stealth savings: Sneaky ways to fatten your wallet”? I think it has a better chance, due to the subject matter and due to the fact that GRS has a lot of subscribers (site founder J.D. Roth sent out a “looky here!” tweet). Feel free to share those links with friends.

Voting ends just before midnight on Sunday, July 29. The site doesn’t specify which time zone. Yep, I’m paranoid and OCD. But the top prize is pretty astounding: a $1,000 American Express gift card. Who wouldn’t obsess a little when faced with a chance like that?

On Monday morning the top three finalists in each of four categories will be given a topic of the judge’s choosing. They have a few days to do their best writing on that subject. From there, it’s up to the judges.

I’d love to be one of those finalists. So again, thanks if you have voted and I’d appreciate your support if you haven’t.
