Win this coupon-filled mag and a CVS gift card.

allyousummerfun13All You magazine’s “Summer Fun Special” issue is out, and bristling with manufacturer coupons just the way it is the rest of the year ($27.75 worth of Qs, to be exact).

What better way to use those discounts than a drugstore gift card?

This week’s giveaway is a copy of the magazine plus $10 in scrip to CVS Pharmacy, a store that inspires mad devotion among frugalists thanks to its ExtraCare program.

The rewards system lets you scan your loyalty card at in-store kiosks for instant coupons and gives ExtraCare Bucks good for future shopping trips. The result: a lot of free or nearly free purchases.

(For more on how best to use the rewards program, see “CVS 101” — couponer extraordinaire Tiffany Ivanovsky explains it all.)

This issue of All You includes features like “100 Fabulous Freebies” (from food to DVD rentals to workshops), tips on last-minute travel deals, a guide to saving on fresh and healthy summer fare, “smart snack” tips, 20-minute meal plans — and to counterbalance  all the super-healthy stuff, recipes for frozen treats like banana chocolate ripple ice pops, peanut butter ice cream sandwiches, tropical sherbet cake and ginger-lemonade ice pops.

Even if you’re not keen on couponing, just read the magazine for fun and then use the gift card to help defray the cost of the sunscreen, insect repellant or calamine lotion you’ll need this summer. Good times!

  1. All You is one of my favorite magazines. Love the coupons and the recipes. And, I am a loyal CVSer.
    Thanks for offering the give-away.

  2. First I’d stop by CVS to stock up on summer essentials, then I’d sit on my porch and enjoy all of the magazine’s helpful tips.

  3. I must be in a BIG minority. Don’t care for All You. Kids gave me a subsciption a few years ago and I counted on the fingers of ONE hand how many coupons I used over the entire year. Guess its because I very seldom wear makeup and shop only the perimeter of grocery stores.

  4. I actually even like to READ this magazine–I don’t just get it for the coupons. But I’d love the CVS card as well!

  5. I subscribe to All You and have a $1 coupon for this summer edition but would gladly give coupon to someone else if I won this and CVS is now my mail-order pharmacy-that works!

  6. I played the CVS game last summer 8-). I started with $50, only bought what my family would actually use and stopped buying any item when we had a year’s supply. Combining sales, coupons and ECBs I was able to stretch that $50 to $300 dollars worth of toiletries, food, vitamins and OTC meds. Of course, I wasn’t able to get a full year’s supply of anything but razors and toothpaste butI didn’t have to buy any HBAs from September till January.
