Fabulous freebies for Friday. (Also, always achieve alliteration.)

To celebrate this site’s first week of existence, I’m staging a giveaway of logo items donated by the friendly folks at FatWallet.com.

First prize consists of an “I am the revolution” T-shirt plus a FatWallet.com baseball cap, pen, water bottle (stainless steel, BPA-free, made by Klean Kanteen) and, believe it or not, FatWallet chocolates and sugar-free cinnamon “micromints” (in a round steel container, very cool).

Second prize: T-shirt, cap, pen, chocolate and mints.

Third prize: T-shirt, chocolate, pen.

You can enter by leaving a comment, by subscribing to the site, or by becoming a follower on Twitter or Facebook. Each action will count as one entry. I’ll use a random number generator to select the winner.

The deadline is 9 p.m. PDT Monday, May 10.

I’m hoping to make contests a weekly item here – who doesn’t like freebies? – but we’ll see how it goes.

Full disclosure: I saved out one FatWallet.com chocolate bar for myself. Call it quality control. It’s from a Wisconsin-based company called Chocolate Temptation, and it was so tasty I’m starting to wish I’d saved out two.

  1. I really enjoy your blog! I stumbled on your article of “Surviving and Thriving…” on msn a few years ago, which is the reason I started reading msn money articles. I find all your practical advice extremely encouraging, and also just not to feel so alone in financial struggles. So glad you started the blog.
    (Plus, hope I win!)

  3. Thanks for the chance to be a weiner! 😉 Donna, do we leave a separate comment for each entry?

I’d love some FatWallet swag — am a long time member of their forum. Have never gotten into their cashback side too much although it seems competitive enough.

  7. I was invited by your supremely Clever daughters’ blog ( thru email, love her ideas!) that I subscribe to. Maybe like Mother like Daughter! Either way, I was further attracted to your own blog by the cool name! This sounds like a fun place to be and I would love to subscribe to your blog and also enter your contest!
