Bloggers and readers in the Phoenix area: Wanna talk about money, midlife, millennials or ‘most anything else? Hope you can attend a meet-up on Saturday, Feb. 21.
The do will be hosted by me and my daughter, who blogs at I Pick Up Pennies. When I say “hosted,” what I mean is that we’ll be there and we’ll save you some seats.
“There” is at a Wendy’s restaurant. Originally we thought about meeting at a mall food court, but ultimately decided on Wendy’s because it will be quieter. This location is nicer than many fast food places, more of a lounge than a plasticized pit stop.

We’ll be there starting at 1:30 p.m., a time we chose to allow folks to clean the house, do errands or just sleep really late on Saturday. Frugal bonus: You can have lunch before the meeting and not have to spend much.
Myself, I’ll probably buy a 99-cent Diet Coke (Value Menu!) and refill it until I turn beige. Unless, of course, I get seduced by the smell of baked potatoes.
I know of several other bloggers in the Phoenix area, including Funny About Money, Out of Debt Again, The Debt Myth and Honey Smith of Get Rich Slowly — and hope that some or all of them can make it.
Hope you can, too. We can talk about whatever you like, and maybe the writers among us will get some article ideas.
The Wendy’s is at 2640 W. Thunderbird. Watch for the Home Depot, with which it shares a parking lot.
With what the weather has been like in metro Chicago I wish I could meet up w/you again.

Warm weather indeed! It is supposed to be 83 today 😉 I put this meetup on my calendar, though since I am recovering from some outpatient spinal procedures I can’t guarantee how I’ll feel. I do appreciate the shout-out!

I have chant choir that morning…hevvin help us, it looks like he has us down for rehearsal from 9 to 10:30. But…even if that’s the run-up to an hour-long shindig I should be able to get there by early afternoon. Look forward to seeing you all then! 🙂

I think it will be a mix of blogging types, although most will have at least something to do with money (including the saving of it).
