Jacob over at My Personal Finance Journey is running something called the Tour de Personal Finance. I’m one of four “racers” in Stage 4, hoping to move on to the next leg.
That’s where you come in.
Visitors are invited to read the four posts and to vote for two of them. My contribution is “This isn’t your grandparents’ recession,” a piece that ran here a couple of months ago.
I’ve read the other three and I’ve voted. I hope you have the time to check them out and, if you feel my work warrants it, voting. The deadline is Friday, July 8.
Incidentally, none of the pieces is particularly long. It shouldn’t take more than a few minutes. So vote early! Vote often! Okay, scratch that last: It’s one vote per person.
On an unrelated note: Dyanne was the winner of the movie-tickets-and-soda giveaway. Congratulations, Dyanne, and I hope you choose a better movie than I did. Of course, even if you hate what you see you get to go home saying, “Well, I’m glad I didn’t pay for that!”
This week’s giveaway is….not a book. That’s all I’m saying.
I don’t remember if I told you–I really appreciated the Grandparents recession piece. One of your best. I voted for it.
@Reta: You did tell me. But thanks for telling me again. 🙂
Thanks for mentioning this!
I cant find where to vote on Jacobs site- I liked your article the best
@Suzanne: Go down to the comments section and vote there at

And thanks!
I voted for you and Tool. What can you win?
@Sandra Jensen: I don’t think there’s a prize attached. It’s just bringing awareness of your site to new readers.
Thank you for voting.
I voted for you!
