Just a quick post to say that:
Tomorrow (Wednesday, Oct. 18) will bring a Swag Code Extravaganza, and
A spooky new Swagbucks Team Challenge is currently afoot.
As anyone who reads here regularly already knows, this is my favorite rewards program. The points (called “SB”) that I earn pay for:
- A goodly chunk of my birthday and holiday gifts
- Dinner out when I visit my daughter and son-in-law
- Paper products and food items for people in financial tight spots
About that last: I trade in the SB for Amazon gift cards and have the goods sent right to their doors. (Thanks, Amazon Prime!) In fact, I cash in most of my SB for Amazon cards, although recently I traded in for a Hot Topics card for a stylish young relative.
Bonus: You can trade SB for cash money, in the form of PayPal gift cards.
Tomorrow’s code extravaganza begins at 7 a.m. PDT. Six codes, totaling 40 points, will be released throughout the day. Although I’ll be occupied for part of October, I’ll post any codes I encounter on the Surviving and Thriving Facebook page.
A challenge from Swagbucks
The Swag Haunt Team Challenge is divided into five groups: Broom Mates, Bolt Brigade, Pumpkin Patch, Chummy Mummies and Bag-O-Bones. (I’m in the Bolt Brigade, myself.) Sign up here and you’ll be assigned to a team.
(Not a Swagbucks member? I hope you’ll join using my referral code. If you do and can earn 300 SB before Nov. 1, you’ll be given another 300 SB as a bonus.)
The SB you earn from now through noon PDT Friday, Oct. 20, will be aggregated with those of others on your team. Contribute at least 600 points and you’ll be awarded a bonus of up to 100 SB, depending on where your team finishes.
How you earn depends on how you arrange your life. Answer the single-question Swagbucks Daily Poll and you’ll get 365 points a year (or 366 during leap year). Use the site’s search engine and you’ll earn anywhere from 4 to 100 points, which are randomly awarded.
Earn on site channels like Search, Watch, Answer, Play, Discover and Shop. You’ll also be sent offers via e-mail; recently I earned 1,500 SB after making a hurricane relief donation.
Check in with the Swagbucks Facebook page during the day to look for “Swag Codes,” good for additional points. (Or download the Swag button and you’ll be alerted when codes become available.) An excellent way to earn is to refer others, because you’ll get a percentage of the SB they earn.
You can join the Team Challenge at http://www.swagbucks.com/swag-haunt-2017. Again, watch the S&T Facebook page tomorrow for codes, or check the Swagbucks Facebook page periodically. Good luck!
I sit and just think of things to search. I got 58 points for things I search just to search. However, I do use the SB search bar to search for everything. Well, I have to get it back on my computer.
I signed up under you years ago. I’ve been paying my student loan with swagbucks money ever since. I’m hooked, I do it everyday. Gotta make that first goal!
Keep checking the S&T Facebook page and/or the Swagbucks Facebook page, then, and good luck.
