Want to go to the movies?

I went to “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” today. It was loud. And long. And loud. The final battle scene was interminable. Did I mention the volume?

Surely there’s something a little less grueling to see if you win this week’s giveaway. I’m handing out a pair of tickets to any AMC movie theater and a couple of great big fountain drinks.

  2. I’d love them since I am unemployed and have nearly zip in my monthly ‘fun’ money category. I have been digilent about trying to find advance prescreenings that I can afford the gas/parking to attend and are held in a reasonably safe area for a single, older women to be in at 9-10 pm.

  4. Love the movies – it’s a rare occasion that I go, as it’s too expensive to watch a movie I can’t pause for a bathroom break!

  16. And I also follow you on Facebook!

I’m not sure if I’m going to see the new Transformers. It’s not the kind of movie I usually watch. But it was filmed here in Chicago and I hear there are some great local scenes. The building I work in was featured prominently; apparently it gets cut in two during one scene.

But if there is a chance to get free tickets for Transformers movie, it would like to have a shot at it 🙂
