Polar bears are pretty awesomely dangerous creatures, but it’s hard to take this guy too seriously because he’s wearing a maroon bow.
It’s from The Boyds Collection, if that means anything to you bearophiles.
P.S. I once talked with an Inupiat Eskimo who told me that as a boy he’d eaten soup made of polar-bear paws. He said the meat tasted something like pork.
Cute bear!
My stepdaughter would be un’bear’ably happy if I won this! 🙂

I’m feeling lucky!!!
Have you read “50 Miles From Tomorrow” by a native Alaskan legislator whose name I’ve temporarily spaced? Interesting book, though one of the sadder parts is when members of his family eat fermented Walrus flipper as a treat and become infected with botulism. Sorry–but I was reminded of that when you mentioned polar bear paws!
I’m surprised he didn’t say it “tastes something like chicken” – seems like every other odd kind of meat does. lol
I’d love to win this as a gift for my neice.
I follow you on Facebook too.
Oh–that’s adorable. I’d give it to my step-nephew. Reluctantly, but I would!
I am a sucker for a cute bear. He would take pride of place on my bed
I also follow or subsribe whichever it is on facebook

I love your emails, love your perspective on things, keep up the good work! And, I’d love to win this bear, I would give it to my sister-in-law because she loves Boyd’s bears and she’s been working hard, taking care of her mother, and my brother, who tore his acl in his knee, needs surgery in a month, and is hobbling around with a full leg brace! She is a wonderful giving person, and deserves some cheer!
I agree with you on staying with the two boys at the post office! The same thing happened to me at my post office a few years ago, only it was 3 little toddlers in a closed car, and it was hot! I called the police but the TWO, yes, TWO, adult women who left them sealed up came out before the cops could get there! I was furious they left them like that! What were these people thinking? It’s not worth the risk, not in today’s world, and that’s so sad, but it’s reality. You definitely did the right thing!
i know somebody who would love this guy for christmas!
I know a girl who could give him a good home.
