If you’re in the market for some gift cards or extra money for your holiday shopping, read on.

Savings.com is giving away $500 worth of Walmart gift cards. Enter by using this link before 11:59 p.m. EST Friday, Dec. 7.

The site also has a discount code good for three free grocery deliveries in areas where Walmart delivers. Visit this link and use the code DISCOVER before Jan. 31, 2019.

Wise Bread wants to know how you stay on budget during the holidays. To that end, the website is giving away three $20 Amazon gift cards.

Visit this link and use the Rafflecopter widget to enter up to three ways (all of which involve Facebook and Twitter). The deadline is 11:59 p.m. PST Monday, Dec. 10.

Finally, the GOBankingRates.com website is giving away a cool $1,000 – in a check, not a gift card. Visit this link to enter, before 11:59 p.m. PST on Jan. 7, 2019. Do this daily, and watch for the prompt that shows you how to enter up to four additional ways.

If your holiday shopping isn’t done, these giveaways could be a real help. And if your shopping is done, you can use the cards/cash to start 2019 off in the black.

  1. Happy birthday, Donna. Can’t believe how you chose to spend it, but I hope DF took you out for a nice meal afterwards. I saw a TV story about how the infrastructure damage is going to make it hard to deliver basic supplies from the lower 48 to all parts of Alaska, so I hope you are not too inconvenienced by the earthquake aftermath. Another good reason to have a TP stockpile. 🙂

      The infrastructure damage is still shaking down (as it were), but some of the early TV reporting was a little bit hyperbolic. For example, it said the quake had brought the state’s biggest city “to its knees.” Um, not really…Schools are closed this week as damage is quantified, but things are getting back to normal in many other ways.

      As for my peculiar birthday celebration, watch for an article soon about how that went. So to speak.
