A free self-publishing seminar.

thThink you’ve got a book in you? Learn how to birth that brainchild at the “Self-Publishing Success Summit,” which continues through July 23.

Here’s the best part: You can attend for free.

Starting tomorrow (July 13), some three dozen author/entrepreneurs will share their best tips for writing, publishing, marketing and monetizing your work.

Four presentations will take place each day. Obviously I can’t list and describe all 37 speakers, so I’ll mention just a few with whom you may already be familiar:

Again: It’s free to attend this thing, whether by computer, tablet or cellphone. Use this link to sign up and you’ll get info on how to log in and view the talks as they happen. You’ll also be invited to join the summit’s private Facebook page, where you can interact with others who like the same sort of thing you do.

Is there a catch?

Should you miss a talk you wanted to hear, you’ll be able to catch the rerun, as it were, for up to three days after the session. After all, it’s hard to be available for every live presentation.

If all this is free, then how are the writers and summit creators getting paid? It’s likely that some attendees will opt to purchase recordings (plus bonus material) of the entire event.

The summit creators also have a second venture, “Self-Publishing School” – a 90-day regimen of lessons and videos that walk newbies through everything from titles to self-publishing platforms to marketing strategies.

In the interest of disclosure: If you use either of the links in this article, I’ll receive an affiliate fee. Should that bug you, then go sign up for the summit on your own – that is, unless you don’t want a lot of free information on self-publishing from people who’ve done it themselves.

  1. I clicked the first link and it brought me to the Self-Publishing School. Is that where the Self-Publishing Success Summit will be held?
