Readers of this site know that I’m quite fond of the Swagbucks rewards program. I’m happy to report that you can get 500 SB for signing up for Visa Checkout, a digital wallet service. (More on that in a minute.)

Here’s how to qualify for the bonus:

- Create an account with Visa Checkout.
- Link a Visa credit or debit card to your account.
- Add your shipping info. (However, you need not buy anything to receive the 500 SB.)
Once you’ve finished registering, the 500 SB will hit your account.

What does it mean to have a digital wallet? The next time you shop online, look for the Visa Checkout logo. Click on it and your purchase is paid.
About that incentive: If 100,000 members sign up for this offer today, you’ll get a 100-SB “Swag Up” rebate on your next gift card redemption. The 100 SB will be available for use between Aug. 19 and Sept. 19.
Remember that the first $25 gift card redemption of each month costs 2,250 SB rather than 2,500. That’s how I’ll use my Swag Up, if enough people register. The holidays are coming up a little faster than I’d like, and I want to cash in for some e-gift cards or Amazon gift cards.
