Traveling for Thanksgiving? You need this bag.

thHeading to your family of origin for turkey day? Or going somewhere as un-familial as possible?

Either way, it’s irritating to have spend big bucks for teeny-tiny toiletries in order to satisfy the Transportation Security Administration.

Thus I’m offering yet another TSA-friendly travel kit, in plenty of time to receive it before your long Thanksgiving weekend trip with a carry-on bag.

Up for grabs this time around are:

Tooth care: Crest Pro-Health  toothpaste and three dental-floss picks

Temple Spa products: “Good Hair Day” shampoo, “In Good Condition” conditioner and “Peace Be Still Calming Face & Body Balm”

Lip balm: Pucker Protector vanilla-flavored (flying is so drying)

Two Emergen-C samples: 1,000-mg. fizzy drink mix and Immune System Support with Vitamin D (travel exposes you to numerous cooties)

Spray-on hand sanitizer: It’s in a vial that clips to your belt if you like, and it’s courtesy of Chase Bank (got it at FinCon14)

Very small flashlight: This, too, has a clip and is from Chase Bank; it can be very disconcerting if you’re in a strange place and the power goes out (also helpful if you’re staying in a hostel and have to get up to pee in the middle of the night)

This giveaway is going up a bit early in case the winner doesn’t respond (it happens) and I have to draw a new name. Also because I’m going out of town next week and may not get to the post office right away.

To enter:

If you do any (or all!) of these things, please leave separate, additional comments to get credit for each entry.

The deadline is 7 p.m. PDT Tuesday, Nov. 4. If I don’t hear back from the winner by 7 p.m. PDT Wednesday, Nov. 5, I’ll pull another name.

Note: Due to the high cost of international shipping, a winner outside the United States will receive an e-gift card.

  1. Thanks for the giveaway…. also so excited to find your site today thanks to Mary Hunt. I was a regular reader of your articles on MSN Money.

P.S. I am originally from Alaska, but have been in CO for 21 years. 🙂

  3. My daughter and son-in-law moved to another state, and took my grandbabies! Since I’ll be doing lots of traveling, this would be very useful!

  5. If the Good Lord is willing and the creek don’t rise, I’ll be seeing my son and daughter-in-love for Thanksgiving. This giveaway would be an awesome thing to have on hand while traveling 🙂
