Once again Savings.com is putting some gift cards up for grabs, and once again I’m hoping one (or more!) of my readers will win. This is a pair of quick-turnaround giveaways, so please take 60 or so seconds to enter them right now.
Here’s what you have a chance to win:
Four $250 e-gift cards to Home Depot are the prizes in the #WinterPrepWithHomeDepot giveaway. Follow the link and enter before 11:59 p.m. PDT Thursday, Sept. 16.
What would you do with $250 worth of buying power? Home improvement projects, holiday decor, yard care items, e-security stuff like a doorbell camera? Note: Home Depot also sells furniture, linens, cookware, dishes and other home items.
Your second shot at free scrip is with the #SaveAtSamsClub giveaway, which will award $100 gift cards to five lucky winners. Again, enter through that link by 11:59 p.m. PDT Thursday, Sept. 16.
The possibilities at Sam’s Club are pretty wide-open: food, toiletries, pet care, furniture, clothing, towels, sheets, shoes, books, vitamins…If you’ve never been in a warehouse store, you’ll likely wind up a bit dizzy. And if there’s no Sam’s Club near you, just order online.
Winning one of these giveaways could help you stock up on necessities, help a friend in need, complete a home project, buy a housewarming gift, or make it possible to buy new towels or replace the coffeemaker that quit working last week.
You could do some special-occasion shopping, too. As I noted recently, supply-chain issues are likely to affect the 2021 holidays. There’s no time like the present (as it were) to get started.
Disclosure: I get a teeny-tiny finder’s fee for everyone who signs up through those links. That’s only part of the reason I promote these, however. It would make me very happy to hear that one (or more!) of you won something. So good luck, and if you do win, please come back and brag about it.
Thanks Donna!
Used the links provided. Fingers crossed I am a winner. Thank you for the opportunity!!
Sure could use the Home Depot as I need a stove. I keep putting it off as long as I can, but with the holidays coming up it is hard to cook a bunch of things when you are a burner short,LOL! Hubby keeps saying we have the money to buy one, but I am cheap and wanted to wait till November. Stove is more than 10 years old and I already replaced the ones inside the oven. I would buy another burner, but it is over $100 for one and am afraid to buy it and have another go bad.
Thanks for the Link and your help!
I hope to hear back from you, saying that you’re now $250 closer to that stove.
Thank you.
I’m not going to enter any more contests offered by Savings.com. After entering in the past, I have wound up with a lot of spam.
From them or from others? You could always unsubscribe. (Or, as you say, just stop entering.)
Them and others. 100 – 300 per day.
Hi Nancy: I contacted Savings.com and here’s what I found out.
“Savings.com adds giveaway entrants to their newsletter list (per the terms of the giveaway), but they certainly aren’t sending hundreds of emails per day. ***They can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the Unsubscribe link*** at the bottom of any of the Savings.com emails.
“Occasionally, the merchant will request we collect opted-in email addresses to give to them for their newsletter list. Your reader would have had to ***manually check a box to opt-in to receiving*** any merchant emails.”
[Emphases added.]
I hope that clears things up for anyone who’s interested in entering the giveaways: You can always unsubscribe, and you should definitely NOT opt in to merchant e-mails if you don’t want to receive them.
